The Goal
RICHbars, a Washington, D.C. food start-up that makes vegan, healthy candy bars needed ready-made social media content they could share on Instagram without having to spend too much time thinking about what to post. RICHbars also wanted help planning a social media campaign to promote its special discount on their “Cherry Knot” flavor to celebrate the peak bloom of DC’s cherry blossoms.
The Approach
Meaghan took a dual-pronged approach: 1. Setting up photoshoots to develop a collection of photos for RICHbars to continually pick from for posting on Instagram, including a special shoot with the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin in DC and 2. Creating content calendars full of pre-written Instagram posts, including suggested hashtags and which images to use to make it as easy as possible for RICHbars to stay active on social media and promote their products.



The Results
RICHbars’ Instagram account is brimming with fresh content: regularly-posted photos and captions with a variety of photos that all fit into an over-arching aesthetic for the brand. Furthermore, RICHbars has successfully spread the word about its cherry blossom promotion using the photos and posts Meaghan created.
